Unless a hall advertises multilingual help, don’t count on staff speaking your language. Halls that do advertise multilingual help include MARUHAN’s four visitor halls (MARUHAN) and Q-Bang! in Osaka (WIGO). Everywhere else, show this card.

Quick answers

How do I use the help card?

Open this page on your phone (or print it), find the request you need, and show the Japanese line to a staff member. Point at the Japanese column; the other languages are there so you know what you're showing.

Do staff in pachinko halls speak English?

Some do. MARUHAN's four visitor halls say staff can teach in English, Chinese and Korean, and Q-Bang! in Osaka has trained multilingual staff. Elsewhere, don't count on it, which is why a card helps.

Are these translations checked?

The Japanese phrases follow our pachinko Japanese guide. The Chinese and Korean lines are pending review by native speakers; until then, rely on the Japanese line.
